Snoring Solution

A person with obstructive sleep apnea notice at first that they are snoring heavily soon after falling asleep. Often the snoring gets louder; later, is interrupted by a long silent period during which there is no air circulation. This is followed by a loud snort and gasp, as the person attempts to breathe. This pattern repeats. People with obstructive sleep apnea may not be aware that their sleep was interrupted. In fact, many people with this type of sleep apnea think they slept well all night.  There is no memory of what the body does.  Every time we gasp for air we are awake. When adding multiple awake times then one can realize out of the eight hours only a few were actually quality sleep, the others were a battle between awake breathing episodes.

Consider a Sleep Study

Talk to your medical provider if you snore and/ or are experiencing fatigue, restless sleep, irritability, depression, acid reflux or high blood pressure. A sleep study (either in-lab or at home) can be used to determine if your symptoms are related to a sleep breathing disorder.

We are dedicated to giving each of our patients the healthy smile they deserve!
